Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Hope, British Columbia. Working plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
Construction of a multi-user (pedestrian/cycling) route along Hope's waterfront from Water Avenue to Tom Berry Road. The challenge for this route is there are several sections of steep slopes and the majority of this section is wedged between the Fraser River and Canadian National Railway line on large boulder size riprap. TIMELINE: Project is on hold pending funding. Tender and construction schedules have not been established at this time and are not anticipated in the near future. An update may be available in early spring, 2026.
