The work under this contract consists generally of rehabilitation of bridges, including repair of steel stringers and beams, replacement of bearings, replacement of asphalt topping, repair and waterproofing of concrete decks, concrete repairs, and related work at Bridges J31 and J32 on Aqueduct Road and the vicinities thereof in Queens County, New York. That the bidder has a minimum of ten (10) years construction experience and that within the last five (5) years has completed (or substantially completed) as a prime or general contractor at least one (1) contract comparable in type, size and complexity to the work of this Contract. b. That the bidder's full-time Project Manager and full-time Superintendent each have a minimum of ten (10) years of construction experience on contracts comparable in type, size and complexity to the work of this Contract. c. That the bidder was able to meet contractual milestones/completion dates on schedule on contracts comparable in type, size, and complexity to the work of this Contract. d. That the bidder can demonstrate prior construction experience coordinating and managing work in an urban, highly congested area that is subject to high traffic volume requiring extensive maintenance of traffic and that includes phased construction in active roadways. A Bid submitted by a bidder who does not meet the prerequisite Qualification Information requirements will be considered non-responsive and the bidder's Bid will not be eligible for acceptance by the Authority. The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey (Port Authority), in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award. Additionally, all bidders (including proposers, and respondents, as applicable) are notified that the Port Authority will ensure that, with respect to any contract/agreement entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises, minority business enterprises and woman-owned business enterprises, as applicable, will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids, proposals and responses, as applicable, in response to this invitation, and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award. *Source does not maintain a bidders list*
