Reference Number : 1219436 Bid transmitted electronically accepted: No Expected duration of the contract: Less than a year Estimated value: $ 505,400 to $ 649,099 Commission scolaire de Laval wishes to obtain sealed envelope tenders to retain the services of a contractor for the following construction work: upgrade heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems and air distribution to the laboratory sector at école de l'Éducation Internationale de Laval (EEIL) All bids must be accompanied by a bid security equal to 10% of the total bid price, excluding any applicable taxes, in the form of an irrevocable guarantee or bid bond issued by a financial institution that is an insurer holding a license issued in accordance with the Act respecting insurance (L.R.Q, c A-32) authorizing him to practice surety insurance, a trust company licensed under the Act respecting trust companies and investment companies (L.R.Q, chapter S-29.01), a financial services cooperative covered by the Act respecting financial services cooperatives (L.R.Q, chapter C-67.3) or a bank within the meaning of the Bank Act (L.C, 1991, v. 46), otherwise the bid will automatically be rejected. The bidding contractors are responsible for the choice of subcontractors, both for their solvency and for the content of their bid. Start and end date of the Contract and the schedule of the works: The beginning and end of the contract is scheduled from February 8, 2019 and will end no later than September 14, 2019 The work schedule is scheduled for June 26, 2019 and will be completed by September 14, 2019 The Owner does not undertake to accept any of the tenders received, without any obligation to bidders.
