Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Laval, Quebec. Completed plans call for the construction of a 76,680-square-foot, two-story above grade library; 56,160-square-foot, three-story above grade recreation facility; 23,760-square-foot, four-story above grade municipal facility; and 100,440-square-foot, two-story below grade parking garage.
Construction of a Cultural Infrastructure Project in Laval downtown. The scope of the project includes the construction of a new building that will house a central library and a professional artistic creation centre in Montmorency City sector close to schools and cultural institutions already present in the area. The new building will have an area of 14,500 m2 spread over four floors with an accessible green roof. The library will occupy approximately 7100 m2 and the Center will cover an approximate gross area of 5200 m2. Shared public spaces complementary to the two institutions will complete approximately 2,200 m2 of the entire building. The two underground levels representing approximately 9,300 m2 will mainly house parking lots and support spaces. TIMELINE: The owner has awarded a design/builder for the project implementation.
