Renovation of a medical facility in Montreal, Quebec. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 376,735-square-foot medical facility.

Program of upgrades, repairs and alterations to the existing premises of the Jewish General Hospital, particularly those that were left vacant in pavilions B, C, E and G following the move of activities to the new pavilion K. The scope of the project includes the modernization of spaces, revitalization of care units, upgrades (seismic and other), structuring spaces to optimize their use. The project will be implemented by construction packages during 2023-2026 and will include renovation and upgrades of care departments (medicine, imaging and palliative units), diagnostic departments (endoscopy, imaging and nuclear medicine units), support units (pharmacy and kitchen), major infrastructure (mechanical, electrical and para-seismic systems). The project does not include any addition. TIMELINE: The owner is implementing the project by construction packages. First construction packages have been already tendered, awarded and are being followed in the report under CRM ID names: - Phase 4 - Redevelopment of the 2 SPECT-CT Rooms - Nuclear Medicine - Hôpital Général Juif; - Electrical Infrastructure - Main Electrical Room Phase 4 - Hôpital Général Juif: - Redevelopment of Medical Imaging (Lot 1), Pavilions C - D, 2nd Floor - Phase 4 Jewish General Hospital; - Acquisition and Installation of an On-Call System JGH Phase 4 Project - Phase 1 On-Call System. Construction is underway. Note. By a special decision the Quebec Government has authorized CIUSSS du Centre-Ouest-de-l'Île-de-Montréal to be a joint project manager with Société Québecoise des Infrastructures.
