New construction of a mixed-use development in Tilley, Alberta. Completed plans call for the construction of a 25,000-square-foot, one-story above grade, 200-seat educational facility.
The Province aims to build a new K-9 replacement school for the benefit of students and the community. This project will involve the construction of a new school for the Grasslands Regional Division and shall attain a LEED Silver Certification. The project also includes demolition of the existing school (located at 148 1 St E, Tilley, AB T0J 3K0) and landscaping. The approximate Gross Floor Area (GFA) of the new school is 2,353 m2. Based on school capacity requirements, zero (0) modular classrooms will be added later to the school building.
