Renovation of a fire / police facility in Webster, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.
The renovation of two break rooms, property room, crime lab and restrooms at the existing City of Webster Police Department at 217 Pennsylvania Avenue includes the demolition and new build-out of various spaces in the existing building. This project is in conjunction with City procured equipment that will be supplied by the City to be installed under this project. Time of completion shall be 90 calendar days, including weekends and holidays. A CERTIFIED CHECK or an acceptable Bid Bond for not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid shall accompany each bid as a guaranty that, if awarded the contract, the bidder will promptly enter into contract with the City of Webster and furnish bonds on the forms provided. THE SUCCESSFUL BIDDER OR BIDDERS will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond each in the amount of 100% of the contract. NO BID may be withdrawn after the scheduled opening for at least ninety (90) calendar days. THE CITY reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive formalities and award the bid to the lowest responsive and most qualified bidder.
