As of March 11,2019 project is expected to be completed in October 2020. The Board of Trustees of Clinton Community College, Plattsburgh, New York 12901, hereby invites submission of sealed bids for the following project: Clinton Community College Moore Building Renovation Aes Project No. 4644A Project Description: Complete the exterior renovation of the Moore Academic Building including, but not limited to: existing stucco removal/new cement board and exterior insulation and finish system (EIFS) (over the entire 5 story building); reconstruction of east and west veranda stairs, replacement of all exterior doors, windows and exterior railings; reconstruction of loading dock; reconstruction of northwest exterior stairs; repaving of Moore Building driveway and other associated work (including some hazardous material abatement). The project also includes, but is not limited to: installation of air conditioning on floors one through four (not 5th) including associated electrical and plumbing work; and renovation of the President's Suite. The project shall be completed in phases in accordance with the Construction Milestone Schedule, and the Owner requires the Project to be substantially complete on or before October 31, 2020; and final completion on or before December 31, 2020. Contractors are required to examine the project and site conditions. Bids shall be submitted on the provided forms in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Each bid must be accompanied by a security deposit in the amount of 5% of the Bid. The successful bidder shall be required to furnish 100% performance bond and 100% payment bond. The project will be bid and awarded with four (4) Prime Contracts: General Construction (GC); Plumbing (P); Mechanical (M); and Electrical (E). The Board of Trustees reserves the right to waive any informality in or to reject any and all parts of bids at their sole discretion. A Non-Collusion Certificate must accompany the bid. Contractor's bids are irrevocable for period of (45) days after submission. The Board of Trustees intends to award the contracts by mid-March 2019.
