The project consists of furnishing materials and labor to complete the Plattsburgh City School District District Wide Capital Improvement Project under a multiple contract system. The specific contract described is Contract No. 3 – Plumbing, in accordance with the provided plans and specifications. Instructions to bidders include: - Bid submissions must be in sealed envelopes with the bidder’s name, address, phone number, and project title on the envelope. - Bidders may withdraw any bid prior to the official submission time or any publicized postponement thereof. - Bid documents are available for examination and order (printed or digital) through BCA Architects & Engineers. Printed sets require a $100 deposit, with potential refunds if documents are returned in good condition within 30 business days of contract award or rejection of bids. Digital copies are free. - The Owner may disqualify bidders for failure to comply with the Information for Bidders and General, Supplementary, and Special Conditions. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive informality or defects. - Bids must be prepared as set forth in the Information to Bidders, and security in the form and subject to the provided conditions must be included. - Bidders should observe conditions of employment and minimum wage rates under the Contract. Bids may not be withdrawn for 45 business days after they are opened. - Out-of-state bidders must complete a "Statement Concerning Authority to do Business in the State of New York for non-New York State Companies," and supply a certified copy of their Authority to do Business in New York State with the bid. Failure to include this document renders the bid invalid. - Additional requirements exist for the completion and signing of the Non-Collusion Certificate and, for corporations, the Resolution form. No interpretations of the plans, specifications or other contract documents will be made to any bidder orally.
