*The City of Livingston 2019 CIP consists of two schedules: Schedule I: Clark & Main Street CEP 140 consecutive calendar days Anticipated Notice to Proceed will be executed March 15,2019 for Schedule I Schedule II: 5th-8th Street Alley Sewer 45 consecutive calendar days Work to be performed under this contract includes the construction of water mains (remove and replace), fittings, valves, sewer mains (remove and replace), sewer service connections to the new sewer main, signs, storm drain mains (remove and replace), inlets, epoxy and thermoplastic striping, bedding material, backfill, dewatering (if necessary), compaction, testing, sidewalk removal and replacement, concrete curb and gutter, alley approaches, asphalt removal and replacement, work related to installation of lighting system and all other work related to construction of a complete and operable sewer, water, storm drain and street system. All work shall be done in strict accordance with the requirements of the contract documents. Bidding Controctors are required to attend. Controctors and any of the Controctors subcontractors bidding or doing work on this project will be required to be registered with the Montana Department of Labor and Industry (DLI). CONTRACTOR is not required to have registered with the DLI prior to bidding on this project but must have registered prior to execution of the Construction Agreement. The Controctors must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex or national origin. Each bid or proposal must be accompanied by a Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or Bid Bond payable to Citv of Livingston. in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid. Successful BIDDERS shall furnish an approved Performance Bond and a Labor and Materials Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. Insurance as required shall be provided by the successful Bidder (s) and a certificate(s) of that insurance shall be provided. The right is reserved to reject any or all proposals received, to waive informalities, to postpone the award of the contract for a period of not to exceed sixty (60) days, and to accept the lowest responsive and responsible bid which is in the best interest of the Owner.
