Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Hatboro, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The project involves the construction of a new parking lot and stormwater improvements in an existing wooded area at Masons Mill Park in Upper Moreland Township, Montgomery County, PA. New water and sanitary sewer force main services will also be installed for an existing park restroom building. There will be clearing and grubbing of the existing trees in the area so the parking lot, stormwater, and utility improvements can be installed. The Contractor is responsible for all erosion control, demolition, grading, soil compaction, trash/material removal, and permitting. The Contractor shall provide all materials, equipment, tools, labor and work, unless otherwise provided and shall be responsible for the complete supervision, performance and completion of all work in accordance with the drawings, specifications, special provisions and contract. A nominal fee of 0.33% of the bid amount (up to $5,000) is assessed only to bidders awarded contracts. Each bid shall be submitted in accordance with Article 15 of the Instructions to Bidders and Document 00 21 13.1 Supplemental Instructions for Submitting Electronic Bids and must be accompanied by a Bid Bond or Certified Check for not less than ten percent (10%) of the Bid amount payable to Upper Moreland Township along with an Agreement of Surety certifying that the required Performance and Payment Bonds will be provided to the Bidder. The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish proof of insurance and bonds for Performance, Payment, and Maintenance in such form as meets the approval of Upper Moreland Township and having as security thereon such Surety company or companies as are approved by Upper Moreland Township. This project is subject to applicable provisions of Act 422, Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act as amended and the prevailing minimum wage rates issued by the PA Dept. of Labor and Industry. Bids may be withdrawn within two (2) business days after the opening of Bids only by the withdrawing Bidders strict compliance with 73 P.S. 1602 and any subsequent amendments. Upper Moreland Township reserves the right to reject any and all bids for any cause whatsoever, to eliminate any item or items from the contract, and to waive any informality in the bids.
