Renovation of an educational facility in Chillicothe, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
**As of 04/03/2019, the project was not yet awarded yet. The anticipated award will be end of April. EDGE Participation Goal: 5% of contract Domestic steel use is required per ORC 153.011. Bids will be received for: Trade Estimate General Contract $1,350,000.00 Alternate 1 $140,000.00 Alternate 2 $10,000.00 Alternate 3 $8,000.00 The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and Specifications for Bennett Hall to include renovate two existing classrooms and office space into a student services suite and student gathering space, including new walls, flooring, ceiling and associated electrical, plumbing and HVAC work. Work in Stevenson Center includes renovating existing restrooms to be ADA compliant, renovating the existing tutoring spaces, and creation of new group study rooms and media lab, including all electrical, plumbing and HVAC work. The project consists of hazardous materials abatement at Bennett Hall, Ohio University Chillicothe Branch, 101 University Drive, Chillicothe, Ohio 45601. The scope of work includes the removal and disposal of asbestos containing materials and other materials from throughout the building interior. Close coordination will be required between the Abatement Contractor, General Contractor and Sub-contractors to complete the demolition and abatement associated with this project.
