University of Utah is seeking an experienced, proactive, detail-oriented and technically proficient CMGC Team to provide full Construction Management and Bidding services for the Cyclotron Buildout project. This project involves the build-out and completion of approximately 4,400 sf of shelled space, in the Huntsman Cancer Institute (HCI) Phase 4 Building, to accommodate a Cyclotron and Radiochemistry facility. The scope also includes the construction of a new access ramp and a new loading dock on the south side of the facility. The Contractor for the project must be a Utah licensed General Contractor. Association with other individuals or contractors having appropriate professional expertise is acceptable. The University will enter into a single agreement with the successful Contractor. A Bid Bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the FLCC, made payable to the University of Utah shall accompany the cost proposal. Effective September 10, 2018, the University has retired the previous state mandated Surety Bond Forms and is now requiring the use of the AIA Bid Bond Form A310-2010 and Performance and Payment Bond Form A312-2010. Upon Award of the Notice of Intent to the selected bidder (a letter to the Contractor issued by U Facilities) and the official Contract (Contractors Agreement), the undersigned agrees to return the original signed Contract, and deliver acceptable Performance and Payment bonds in the prescribed form in the amount of 100% of the Contract Sum for faithful performance of the Contract, and deliver an acceptable Certificate of Insurance, all within ten (10) calendar days of the date on the Notice of Intent, unless a shorter time is specified in the Contract Documents.
