Site work for a mixed-use development in Walnut, California. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot.

As of September 16th, 2022 this project is finished with construction work. The project consists of a new two level cast-in-place post-tensioned concrete parking structure with 9 tennis courts, bleachers, and restroom building on top level. The site includes two new entry driveways off of Bonita Avenue, adjacent landscaping, bioswale, and a new storm drain ADS StormTech chamber isolation system. New concrete and masonry structure shown as Building D on Athletics Complex East Revision #2. Includes all other related work as further described in the bid and contract documents ("Owner Documents"). Bidders shall review the Owner Documents for more complete information regarding the Project and submission of bids. Pre-bid RFI's are due to Tilden-Coil by close of business on March 22, 2019. Please send all Pre-Bid RFIs to Tracy Ellis at tellis@tilden-coil.com and copy both Kevin Bucher at kbucher@tilden-coil.com and Moe Naji at mnaji@tilden-coil.com. Bids must be submitted to the Owner on the Owners bid forms. All bids must be addressed, sealed in an envelope with the Bid No. and Bid Category, and received by the Owner no later than the Bid Deadline. All bids will be publicly opened immediately after the Bid Deadline. Bids received after the Bid Deadline shall be rejected. Bids shall be valid for ninety (90) days after the Bid Deadline. Bids must be accompanied by cash, a certified or cashiers check, or a bid bond in favor of the Owner in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the submitted total bid price. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond and a payment bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the total bid price in the manner described in the Owner Documents. Bidders shall comply with California Public Contract Code Section 4108 with respect to subcontractor bond requirements. DIR Registration. Each Bidder submitting a proposal to complete the work, labor, materials, and/or services ("Work") subject to this procurement must be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code 1725.5. A Bidder who is not a DIR Registered Contractor when submitting a proposal for the Work is deemed "not qualified" and the proposal of such a Bidder will be rejected for non-responsiveness. Pursuant to Labor Code 1725.5, all Subcontractors identified in a Bidder's Subcontractors'List shall also be DIR Registered Contractors. The District reserves the right: (1) to accept or reject any and all bids, (2) to waive any irregularities in the bids or bidding, (3) to be sole judge as to the merit, quality, and acceptability of materials proposed and their compliance to the specifications which in their opinion will best serve the interest of the District.
