Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Etobicoke, Ontario. Completed plans call for the construction of a 113,000-square-foot, six-story above grade, 56-unit multi-residential development.
Construction of 58 dwelling units, within a 6-storey prefabricated structure. for the Canadian Helen Keller Centre including 1,189 square meters of indoor amenity spaces. Amenities will include training facilities, library, program spaces within the building basement and at grade, with outdoor amenity provided at grade and on the building rooftop. The project includes a small extension of the adjacent park along the north edge of the site would be dedicated as parkland to the City to expand of the adjacent Eighth Street Skate Park. TIMELINE: Site plan approvals are in place. Design has been completed fall, 2022. The design-builder was secured through an invited tender early 2023. Construction began May 2023 and is well underway. *This project is supported by government funding including through the City of Toronto Open Door Program.
