Expression of Interest Deadline - 2022/07/20 02:00:00 PM EDT TTC intends to issue a Request for Pre-Qualification (RFPQ) to select a group of qualified contractors to provide construction services for the Islington Station Redevelopment Project. TTC is requesting an Expression of Interest from entities interested in providing these construction services to the redevelopment project. Redevelopment of Islington subway station to accommodate a new bus terminal and entrance building on the north portion of the lot. The proposed scope of work includes new surface-level TTC Bus Terminal building located between Islington Avenue and HONI corridor, with two escalators and one elevator serving the street and concourse levels. The Bus Terminal will be connected to the existing subway station concourse level with underground connection that includes retail spaces and back-of house service rooms. The project will also include modification to the existing subway station, to include a new elevator serving the existing concourse and platform levels. A new main TTC West Entrance building located on the west side of Islington Avenue with direct access from adjacent street level to the existing concourse level of the station. A new driveway / circulation area around the Bus Terminal with direct signalized access to Islington Avenue. The project will also include landscaping and public realm improvements with new tree plantings around the new west entrance and terminal buildings.
