Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in High River, Alberta. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a municipal facility; and fire / police facility.
Plans call for a new municipal campus to house a regional emergency services training centre, fire station, emergency coordination centre, emergency management and community peace officer office space, regional dispatch centre space, and a tenant space for related industry. The facility will be developed on a 20-acre rural property, located south of the hamlet of Aldersyde within the Hwy. 2A Industrial Corridor (between High River and Aldersyde). The project is a joint venture between the MD of Foothills and Town of High River. TIMELINE: In 2019, IBI was retained to complete a business case study including conceptual site servicing and development cost analysis. Study results have not made public. This project may be republished in the future if/when it's been approved to proceed with design or construction. Coverage of this report is discontinued at this time.
