Site work for a water / sewer project in Austin, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work consists of installing approximately 2910 LF of 24" DI water line, 690 LF of 16" DI water line, 115 LF of 36" jacked or bored steel encasement pipe, 100 LF of 24" jacked or bored steel encasement pipe, four 24" gate valves, three 16" gate valves, three CARV's, three fire hydrants and appurtenances. Estimated Amount for Solicitation: $3,101,384.00 All Bids shall be accompanied by an acceptable Bid guaranty in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total Bid. Performance and payment bonds when required shall be executed on forms furnished by OWNER. Each bond shall be issued in an amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Amount. WBE 1.28% Contract Time is of the essence and all Work shall be substantially completed within three hundred sixty-five (365) Days OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive any minor informality in any Bid or solicitation procedure (a minor informality is one that does not affect the competitiveness of the Bid).
