Demolition, site work and renovation of a civil project in De Kalb, Mississippi. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; for site work for a water / sewer project; and for the demolition of a water / sewer project.

Principal items of work include the demolition of an existing above ground lift station pumps and piping, installation of new above ground lift station pumps and piping, installation of a grinder station, approximately 20 linear feet of 6" SDR-26 PVC pipe and protective coating of existing concrete wet well to improve the sewer system operation for the Town of DeKalb, Mississippi. Certified check or bid bond for five (5%) percent of the total bid, made payable to the Town of DeKalb must accompany each proposal as required by State Law. Bidders are hereby notified that any proposal accompanied by letters qualifying in any manner the condition under which the proposal is tendered will be considered an irregular bid and such proposal will not be considered in making the award. The award, if made, will be made to the lowest qualified bidder on the basis of unit prices and quantities in the contract documents. Actual work quantities performed shall be based on availability of local funds. The work to be done is generally as shown on the plans. The Mayor and Board of Alderman hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively insure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement all minority business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award. This project is funded by the Appalachian Regional Commission Grant Program. The Town of DeKalb reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all bids to waive informalities.
