Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Portland, Oregon. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
No bid will be considered unless accompanied by bid security in the form of a certified check, bank cashier's check, or surety bond executed by a State licensed surety company, payable to the Tualatin Hills Park and Recreation District in an amount equal to ten percent of the Base Bid. No interest will be paid on bid security. Return or retention of the bid bond shall be subject to the provisions of ORS 279C.385. If park improvements include work on Beaverton School District's property. The contractor, and their subcontractors, shall perform criminal background checks for each employee who is likely to be on the school's property. No work is on Beaverton School District property. Effective on February 2014 all THPRD properties are smoke free. The District reserves the right to reject all bids upon finding that it is in the public interest to do so. The District may also waive formalities or irregularities and may add or delete any items from the bid proposal. The bid may be rejected for not complying with all prescribed public bidding procedures and requirements. No bidder may withdraw his bid after the hour set for the opening and before award of the contract, unless award is delayed beyond Sixty (60) calendar days from the bid opening date.
