Site work and paving for a civil project in Sugar Land, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

The project scope in general is a combination of pavement reconstruction, storm sewer, small diameter water lines, sanitary sewer laterals, street lighting and pedestrian improvements along 7th Street from Wood St to Eldridge Rd, Muirwood lane from 7th Street to dead-end of street and Woodlake Circ from 7th Street to approximately 420-feet south. Also, along a City of Sugar Land park from Ditch A22 to 7th Street. Eldridge Road (FM 1876) is a TXDOT road and will require coordination during construction for traffic closures and pavement replacement at 7th Street and Eldridge Rd intersection. The roadway reconstruction generally consists of 6 to 7-inch regular and TXDOT FAST Track reinforced concrete pavement, sidewalks, wheelchair ramps, curbs and driveways. Part of the reconstruction includes the replacement of existing street signs and pavement markings. The proposed storm sewer improvements generally consist of installation of 24 to 60-inch reinforced concrete pipes (RCP), storm sewer inlets, manholes and abandon in place storm sewer system. A new outfall structure with sloped paving is proposed to be installed at Ditch A22. The proposed small diameter water line storm sewer improvements generally consist of installation of an 8 & 12-inch water line and abandoning in place the existing 8 & 12-inch water line. The water line improvements include the installation of water meter services connection, a water meter vault, fire hydrants replacements, valves, wet connections and appurtenances. In general, the sanitary sewer laterals will be replaced inside a conflict manhole where conflicts exist with the proposed storm sewer improvements. Tree protection and street lighting is also part of the project improvements.
