Pursuant to the provisions of the Texas Government Code Section 2269, Subchapter F, it is the intention of the Fort Bend Independent School District ("Owner") to select one or more Construction Managers-at-Risk for various projects as part of a two-step selection process. The Owner plans to utilize the AIA document A133-2009 Standard Form of Agreement Between Owner and Construction Manager as Constructor, where the basis of the payment is the Cost of Work Plus a Fee with a Guaranteed Maximum Price, as modified by the Owner. The Owner's modified versions of the A133 and A201 General Conditions will be made available to all finalists selected to proceed to Step 2 of this selection process. Payment and Performance bonds for 100% of the construction cost will be required upon submission of the GMP for each project contract. A letter from the firm's surety will be required at Step 2 certifying that payment and performance bonds will be furnished when the GMPs are established for each project. Proposed Schedule: a. Design - December 2018 - October 2019 b.
