These specifications establish the requirements and guidelines for the preparation and painting or covering of previously painted exterior siding, fascia, soffit, and wood beam structures and/or the installation of colored metal fascia at the Wyoming Game and Fish Sheridan Regional Office, 700 Valley View Dr, Sheridan, WY 82801. Whenever bids are solicited, award shall be made to the resident bidder making the lowest bid if such bid is not more than five percent (5%) higher than that of the lowest responsible non-resident bidder and provided that articles bid are not of inferior quality to those offered by competitors outside of the State. (W.S. 16-6-105) It is the responsibility of the bidder to contact the Department of Workforce Services, Labor Standards at (307) 777-7261 to obtain a residency certification number. Wyoming vendors without a Resident Certification Number will not be eligible for the 5% preference. When the bid exceeds $25,000.00, the successful bidder must, within twenty (20) calendar days after notification of the award, deliver to the owner an executed Contractor's Performance and Payment Bond in the amount of at least equal to One Hundred Percent (100%) of the accepted bid as security for the faithful performance of the contract. The bond shall be submitted on bonding forms as provided by the State of Wyoming, and shall meet all requirements as to form and execution. If during the contract period change orders increase the Original Contract amount, it will be necessary for the Contractor to furnish the State additional bonding coverage so that 100% of the Contract Amount is always provided. Wyoming Prevailing Wage Act of 1967: Not less than the prevailing hourly rate of wages for work under this bid shall be paid to all workers unless other-wise specified in writing by the State Procurement Administrator prior to this bid opening. Applies only if the contract amount is $100,000.00 or more. The Contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary equipment, materials, and labor for the preparation and painting of previously painted exterior siding, fascia, soffit and wood beam structures and/or the installation of colored metal fascia at the Wyoming Game and Fish Sheridan Regional Office per the following specifications. The state will reject bids from any bidder who has not signed the attendance sheet prior to the commencement of the meeting or scheduled visit.
