Sealed Bids For The Furnishing Of The Necessary Materials And Construction Of The Chestnut Street Improvements, Phase 1 Village Of Grafton, Ohio The scope of work consists of completing reconstruction of approximately 1065 feet of Chestnut Street, widening the pavement to 25 feet with new concrete curb/gutter and bituminous asphalt concrete pavement; 945 of new 8 diameter waterline; 1150 of new 8 sanitary sewer; 1,325 of new 12 15, and 18 storm sewer; together with new service laterals, precast concrete manhole and catch basin structures, and other necessary appurtenances. Shipping and tax charges are the bidders responsibility and payable directly to Becker Impressions. The Engineer for the Project is Poggemeyer Design Group, Inc., 1168 North Main Street, Bowling Green, Ohio 43402. All bids must be signed and submitted using the forms which are included in the contract document booklet. Bids must state the unit prices in the blanks provided and be enclosed in a sealed envelope marked as appropriate for the Contract(s) being included in the bid -chestnut Street Improvements, Phase 1 and be addressed to the Village of Grafton, 960 Main Street, Grafton, Ohio 44044. The bid guaranty may be of two forms: 1. A Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond using the form in the Contract Documents. (The amount of the bid does NOT have to appear on this form.) 2. A certified check, cashiers check or letter of credit in favor of the Village of Grafton, Ohio, in the amount of 10% of the bid. If the contract is awarded, a Contract Bond will be required, which is a 100% payment and performance bond.
