Site work for a water / sewer project in Dover, Delaware. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The proposed project, identified by staff and confirmed by the 2004 Water Master Plan Update, will construct a new 1.0 million gallon elevated storage tank within the distribution system. An evaluation concluded that a new 1.0 million gallon elevated storage tank is not merited in the City. FY 2022 will produce a study to evaluate the need of a tower. As of August 7, 2024, this project is currently in the City of Dover's FY 2024-2028 CIP. Information regarding a design firm and the general contractor selection timeline has not been disclosed. A firm construction timeline has not been released. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
