Addition to a medical facility in Greenfield Park, Quebec. Conceptual plans call for the addition of a medical facility.

Addition and alterations to the Hospital buildings. The scope of the project includes the construction of five-storey additional structure above the new emergency department building that will bring the number of operation rooms up to fifteen. The new structure will house eleven multipurpose rooms, a hybrid operating room, a minor surgery room, an emergency Cesarean room and an emergency room. The new building will also house a medical device reprocessing unit and an intensive care unit with 30 beds, a new brief hospitalization unit and a brief mental health intervention unit. The Hospital administration also wants to relocate the nuclear medicine department and acquire a second magnetic resonance device. This work represents a budget of approximately $ 400 million, provided for in the Quebec Infrastructure Plan (PQI). TIMELINE: After in-depth studies and examinations of the current needs for medical services, the Qubec provincial authorities have opted for the construction of the Hospital expansion project for relocation of the mental health department and related services that is now followed in the report under CRM ID name Hôpital Charles-Le Moyne Expansion and Renovation - Mental Health. The project with this scope will not proceed. Coverage of this report has been discontinued.
