Saving Project...

Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Traverse City, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

Questions may be addressed to Timothy J. Lodge, City Engineer, 231-922-4455. Due to the imminent need to address the failing primary influent piping, the final Task 1 TM shall be done by June 14th , 2019. It is the intent of the City to issue an RFP for the design of the Task 1 recommendations immediately thereafter so that the design can be awarded and initiated by October of 2019. All other tasks and the final Wastewater Treatment Priority Improvements Plan shall be completed by August 14th, 2020 This project will develop a Priority Improvements Plan that provides a prioritized list of improvements needed to provide reliable service for many years to come. This project will determine: The condition of existing WWTP assets. The treatment processes and facility improvements that are needed. Opportunities for reducing costs associated with chemicals, energy, and biosolids. The priority of improvements and when should they be done. The cost of the priority improvements and spending plan that fits within the Citys financial framework.
