Site work for a civil project in Pearland, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; and bridge / tunnel.
As of August 19, 2021. The contract has not been awarded yet. It will likely be late September of October before the contract is awarded. The project area is bounded by Manvel Road, Bailey Road, Brazoria Drainage District 4 ditch, and Mary's Creek. The project will entail the construction of drainage improvement infrastructure within the entire West Lea Subdivision and along Manvel Road (FM 1128) to the Mary's Creek outfall. The project includes the removal of existing storm sewer, installation of approximately 10,500 LF of proposed storm sewer, re-grading, widening, and re-shaping approximately 40,500 LF of roadside ditch, utility adjustments, installation of street light conduit, the removal and replacement of driveway culverts, upsizing of culverts, tree removal and protection, sidewalk and pavement repair, and site restoration. The project will also include improvements to the drainage ditch along the subdivision's eastern perimeter to Mary's Creek, coordination with Brazoria Drainage District 4 and TxDOT. Bid Security in the form of Cashier's Check, Certified Check, or Bid Bond payable to the City of Pearland in the amount of 5% of the total base bid price must accompany each proposal. Bidders submitting bids electronically through the E-bid System shall scan and up-load a copy of the sealed Bid Bond as an attachment to their bid
