The City of Pearland is accepting competitively sealed bids from qualified bidders for fence replacement at the Veterans Sports Complex. Envelope clearly marked ITB 0625-30 - Fence Replacement at the Veterans Sports Complex The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, hardware, and necessary demolition and disposal for the installation of cedar fencing at both the Softball and Baseball Fields. This is an acknowledgement that FEMA financial assistance will be used to fund the contract only. The contractor will comply will all applicable federal law, regulations, executive orders, FEMA policies, procedures, and directives. All work must comply with applicable codes, safety standards, and quality requirements. 1.1 Contractor shall verify all field measurements and existing pole conditions before starting work. 1.2 Contractor is responsible for all site preparation, fencing layout, and post-demolition cleanup. 1.3 All waste, excess material, and debris must be removed from the site daily 2. Softball Field 359 total linear feet of cedar fencing including necessary demo, material, labor, and hardware. 2.1 246 linear feet - 6 feet (ft) cedar pickets. 2.2 81 linear feet - 12ft cedar pickets. 2.3 32 linear feet - transition from 6ft cedar pickets to 12ft cedar pickets through equal incremental step up's each cedar picket over the 32ft span. 2.4 359 linear feet - (1x6) treated lumber kick board at base of fence for entire length of fence. 2.5 A minimum of four (4) sections of runner boards for 6ft cedar picket sections utilizing (2x4) treated lumber. 2.6 A minimum of six (6) sections of runner boards for 12ft cedar picket sections utilizing (2x4) treated lumber. 2.7 New fencing will utilize existing 4-inch diameter galvanized support poles for fence connection points. 2.8 All hardware and brackets should be galvanized or galvanized dipped. 2.9 Paint the entire fence surface front and back including kick boards. 2.9.1.
