Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to a water / sewer project in Evansville, Indiana. Completed plans call for the addition of a water / sewer project; for the demolition of a water / sewer project; for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

This project will be released for bid on or about February 22, 2019. Bid documents are not yet available. The work for which bids are to be received consists of: The Work for this project includes the following: Secondary Control Building improvements (Building 70) including furnishing and installing nine (9) RAS pumps and associated pump suction and discharge piping, valves, electrical improvements, structural improvements and additions, and other miscellaneous improvements; Installing one (1) Owner-Furnished Cogen for biogas utilization (Building 55). Furnishing and installing a Chemical Phosphorus Removal system (Structures 54, 55, and Site); Furnishing and installing two (2) new influent bar screens, rehabilitating two (2) screenings compactors, and rehabilitating one (1) screenings conveyor (Building 59); Addition of a pump hoist (Building 59); and demolition and miscellaneous improvements as described in the Contract Documents. Work shall also include all supervision, equipment, traffic control, granular backfill, pavement restoration (milling included), flushing, disinfecting, testing and all appurtenances necessary to complete the work shown in the drawings and specifications. All work must be ready for satisfactory and continuous operation, in accordance with the plan and specifications. The above referenced project description includes items that are part of the Itemized Base Bid. The Contractor shall be responsible for all work shown on the plans and described in the specifications pertaining to the Itemized Base Bid, regardless of the installation method chosen. The Evansville Water and Sewer Utility further reserves the right to waive informalities, and to award the contract to the lowest and most responsible bidder (or bidders), all to the advantage of the Evansville Water and Sewer Utility, or to reject all Proposals. The bid shall be accompanied by either a bid bond with surety satisfactory to the City or by certified check on a solvent bank in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total base bid amount; the bond or check shall be made payable to the Evansville Water and Sewer Utility. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance and Payment Bond equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the total contract price in accordance with the provisions stated in the Instructions to Bidders.
