The City of Fort Smith Convention Center ("City") is seeking bids from qualified and professional installers to provide services for the removal and installation of carpet, Phase II. These services shall be in accordance with the terms, conditions, and specifications in the Invitation to Bid document. Project estimated cost: $65,000.00 The City of Fort Smith Convention Center ("City") is seeking bids from qualified and professional installers, hereinafter referred to as "Installer," to provide services for the removal and installation of carpet, Phase II. These services shall be in accordance with the terms, conditions, and specifications contained in this document. Services required shall include (but not limited to) the furnishing of all materials, labor, tools, equipment, etc., necessary for removal of existing carpet and installing J+J Invision, Kinetex textile composite flooring (to be provided by the City) to cover approximately 6,500 sq. ft. This Invitation to Bid ("ITB") is being issued by The City of Fort Smith Convention Center ("City") from approved Installers to provide the above stated services at the Fort Smith Convention Center, located at 55 South 7th Street, Fort Smith, Arkansas 72901. Please note that the measurements given herein are estimates and for reference only. It shall be the responsibility of each Installer to take measurements in order to ensure accuracy to determine proper staffing needs and accuracy of pricing proposal. Award of contract is not made at the bid opening. All proposed bids are subject to final review and acceptance by City Staff before any award may be made. Receipt of bid by the City shall not be construed as authority to bind the City. The evaluation and award of this bid shall be made on the following, but not limited to criteria (in no particular order of emphasis): 1) Size of Installer's operation and availability to meet the City's needs 2) Relevant experience and reputation of past skillful performance of work of this type with Kinetex textile composite flooring, or similar 3) Ability of Installer to meet the insurance requirements 4) Proposed pricing 5) References review and recommendations The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities, and to accept all or any part of any proposal as it may deem to be in the best interest of the City.
