For providing all labor and material for the FY2018 CD-184700 Rochester Area Parks Rehab-War Memorial Park, Rochester Borough. The scope of work consists of 2 prime contracts: #1 General, #2 Electrical. Bids must be submitted on prescribed forms, complete with instructions provided herewith. Bid Proposal must be accompanied by a Bid Security, as a Certified or Cashiers Check, or original Corporate Surety Bid Bond with original Power of Attorney, in the amount of 10% of the Bid Proposal, made in favor of the County of Beaver, Pennsylvania. Facsimiles will not be accepted. MBE, WBE and Section 3 businesses are encouraged to apply. Standard contract provisions of the Department of HUD Act of 1968 as amended and US Department of Labor for CDBG apply to this project, including Federal Prevailing Wage Rates, Civil Rights, EEO, Federal Public Works, Affirmative Action, Section 3 Requirements, and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, EO 11246, 11625 together with all Standard Provisions of CDBG Programs. The County of Beaver, Pennsylvania reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive informalities, and to award Contracts in its best interest. Work consists of the War Memorial Park and History Park ONLY. Electrical Construction work items include, but are not limited to the work shown on the drawings and to the following: 1. War Memorial Park: a. Install junction boxes at light pole and bollard locations. b. Install refinished light poles as indicated on the drawings. Light poles refinished and concrete foundation/bases by General Contractor. c. Install Borough provided lighted bollards. d. All conduit, wiring, boxes, switching, sensors, and other electrical items indicated. e. New general and display lighting and convenience outlets. f. Power for lighted flag poles. 2. History Park: a. Install refinished light poles as indicated on the drawings. Light poles refinished and concrete foundation/bases by General Contractor. b. Install Borough provided lighted bollards. c. All conduit, wiring, boxes, switching, sensors, and other electrical items indicated. d. New general and display lighting and convenience outlets.
