The CONTRACT DOCUMENTS, consisting of Advertisement for Bids, Information for Bidders, Bid, Bid Bond, Agreement, General Conditions, Supplemental General Conditions, Payment Bond, Performance Bond, Drawings, Specifications, and Addenda, may be examined at the following locations: Town of Oneida, Tennessee 19922 N. Alberta Ave. Oneida, TN 37841, GRW Engineers, Inc. 135 Fox Road, Suite D Knoxville, TN 37922 and GRW Engineers, Inc. 401 BNA Drive, Suite 201 Nashville, TN 37217 The allotted time for construction is 90 calendar days. Attention of Bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract, Section 3, Segregated Facility, Section 109 and E.O. 11246. The Bidder, if successful and awarded the Contract, will be expected to communicate with the Engineer electronically via the Engineer's Newforma software. No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of sixty (60) days after closing time scheduled for the receipt of bids. Bids shall be accompanied by a bid bond or a certified check in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid to insure the execution of the contract for which the bid is made. In case the bid is not accepted, the check or bid bond will be returned to the bidder, but if the bid is accepted and the bidder shall refuse or neglect to enter into a contract with the Owner within ten (10) days after the time he has been notified of the acceptance of his bid, the said check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the Owner as liquidated damages for the failure to do so. All bidders must be licensed General Contractors as required by the Contractor's Licensing Act of 1976 of the General Assembly of the State of Tennessee, and qualified for this type of construction being bid upon.
