The City Council of Johnston, Iowa, will hold a public hearing on the proposed Plans,Specifications, Form of Contract, and Estimate of Costs for the construction of said improvements at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, April 1, 2019 at the Council Chamber in City Hall, 6221 Merle Hay Road, Johnston, Iowa 50131. At said hearing, any interested person may appear and file objections thereto or to the cost of the improvements The extent of work on this project is the furnishing of all labor, equipment, and materials for the construction of improvements in Johnston generally described as follows: Construction of the NW 66th Avenue Booster Pump Station including the following: Furnish all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete construction of a new 1,600-gpm above-grade pump station at 4640 NW 66th Ave; a new belowgrade metering vault; approximately 3,800 feet of water main; associated electrical, mechanical, and controls integration; site development; and miscellaneous work for improvements to the high pressure zone in the City's potable water distribution system. MBE : 1.7% WBE : 2.2% MBE : 4.5% WBE : 6.9%
