Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Johnston, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The work includes approximately 3,100 CY of excavation, clearing and grubbing, 450 LF of storm sewer, 7 storm structures, 775 tons of rip rap, 45 CY of gabion walls, 37 SY of sidewalk replacement, erosion control, and site restoration. Work will be performed at two locations: northeast of the end of Harbor Oaks Drive and immediately east of the end of Longboat Court. Project information, engineers cost opinion, and planholder information is available at no cost at electronically. The City of Johnston does hereby reserve the right to reject any and all bids, to waive informalities, and to enter into such contract, or contracts, as it shall deem to be in the best interest of the jurisdiction. The City of Johnston reserves the right to defer acceptance of any bid for a period of sixty (60) calendar days after receipt of bids and no bid may be withdrawn during this period.
