Site work for a road / highway in Carp Lake, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
For the guardrail installation as part of the Gill Road Timber Bridge project over Carp River in Carp Lake Township. All work must be consistent with the 2012 MDOT Standard Specification for Construction. This project is funded through the Little Traverse Bay Bands of Odawa Indians with USDA Natural Resource Conservation Service funds and with a U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Fish Passage Grant. The Emmet County Road Commission forces will be responsible for replacement of the existing bridge with a new timber structure, including new road reconstruction 300' either side of the bridge. The new bridge is expected to be completed by July 15, 2019. The guardrail installation can take place after the bridge has been completed. The work includes furnishing all labor, material, and equipment for the supply and installation of guardrail per the attached specifications.
