According to the March 7, 2019 meeting minutes of the Board of Commissioners, all bids were rejected and the project was never rebid. Design and construction of a five-span bridge and asphalt pathway Each bid must be accompanied by bid security made payable to Lower Macungie Township in an amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid price and in the form of a certified or bank check or a Bid Bond issued by a surety meeting the requirements of Paragraph 5.1 of the General Conditions. This project is subject to minimum wage rates in accordance with the applicable provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act and the Public Works Employee Verification Act. Lower Macungie Township reserves the right to waive any informality in, and/or to reject, any or all bids. No bid will be accepted if obtained from sources other than the issuing office noted above.
