The successful bidder must individually furnish Performance, Payment Bonds and Insurance per Contract - each in the amount equal to the individual Contract Amounts for each respective Owner. Each bid must be accompanied by Bid Security made jointly payable to the Owners in an amount of ten percent (10%) of the total Bid price and in the form of a certified or bank check or a Bid Bond issued by a surety meeting the requirements of Paragraph 5.1 of the General Conditions. This project is subject to minimum wage rates in accordance with the applicable provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act and the Public Works Employee Verification Act. The lining work/projects in Lower Macungie Township and the Township of Salisbury are being financed, in part, by a grant from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Commonwealth Financing Authority (CFA). All Contractors/Subcontractors, administrative, field work and associated activities must be in compliance with applicable statutes and regulations of the Grantor as referenced in Section 41 of these Contract Documents.
