For 2020 Sanitary Sewer Relining Project The Contract will generally include the internal repair of designated sections of the Township's sanitary sewage collection/conveyance system located within Lower Macungie Township. Specifically, the project includes the relining of approximately 13,724 LF of 8-inch sanitary sewer pipe by the cured in place (CIPP) inversion lining method, including the reinstatement of approximately 153 sanitary sewer lateral connections. The successful bidder will be required to furnish separate bonds with corporate surety issued by companies authorized to do business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania on the prescribed forms dated the date of the Contract, or separate Federal or Commonwealth chartered lending institution irrevocable letters of credit in a form accepted and approved by the Township, each equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount, to secure (a) the faithful performance and maintenance of the Contract; and (b) the prompt payment of materials and labor. Lower Macungie Township reserves the right to reject any or all proposals. All work consisting ofwood poles, concrete or metal (or substitutes therefore) poles or towers, including wires, cables or other apparatus supported therefrom. Installing and maintaining the catenary and trolley work on railroad property and bonding ofrails. Clarification Deadline: 4/2/2020 4:00 PM *This project timeline has been extended due to the public health crisis.
