Site work for a clubhouse / community center in Macungie, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a clubhouse / community center.
Lower Macungie Township will receive bids for the completion of the public improvements at the Community Center Expansion Project located at 3450 Brookside Road, Macungie, PA. The Base Contract work will primarily include modifying and placing amended soils in a rain garden, mowing and overseeding one infiltration basin. The Base Contract work will also include the placement of specified landscaping and the removal of surplus materials from the site. Each bid must be accompanied by Bid Security in the form of a certified or bank check, or a Bid Bond issued by a surety meeting the requirements of PennDOT Pub. 408, made payable to Lower Macungie Township, in an amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid price. The successful bidder must furnish Performance and Payment Bonds each in an amount equal to the Contract Price and meeting PennDOT Publication 408, Section 103.04 requirements. This project is subject to the terms and conditions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act, as determined by the Secretary of Labor and Industry, and is to be bid as such. The successful bidder is assessed a variable award fee from PennBID. CLARIFICATION DEADLINE 4/12/2023 4:00 PM Lower Macungie Township reserves the right to waive any informality and to reject any and all bids.
