Site work and paving for a road / highway in Macungie, Pennsylvania. Working plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
** As of August 30, 2023, project received no bids. No definite date for the rebid.** Lower Macungie Township will receive sealed bids for its 2023 Roadway Pavement Marking Program. The Base Bid will consist of 58,185 LF of double yellow centerline, 80,200 LF of 4-inch white fog line, 16,400 LF of 6 white line (all waterborne pavement markings). The Base Bid will also include 34 EA stop bars, 21 EA Type A perpendicular crosswalks, 2 EA Type C perpendicular crosswalks, 21 EA directional arrows, 21 EA only legends, 525 LF 6 lane designation lines (DEW), 245 LF of 24 yellow gore marking, 75 LF of 24 white gore marking, 34 EA shared lane marking legends (all hot thermoplastic) and the removal of all pavement markings. Bid Security in the form of a certified or bank check, or a Bid Bond issued by a surety meeting the requirements of PennDOT Pub. 408, made payable to Lower Macungie Township, in an amount of ten percent (10%) of the Bid price. The successful Bidder must furnish Performance and Payment Bonds each in an amount equal to the Contract Price and meeting PennDOT Pub. 408, Section 103.04 requirements. Bidders must be PennDOT prequalified per PennDOT Pub. 408, Section 102. Question Deadline 07/10/2023 at 4:00 PM ET This project is considered maintenance and is not subject to the terms and conditions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act, as determined by the Secretary of Labor and Industry, and is to be bid as such.
