Demolition, carpentry, insulation, roofing membrane, metal coping and sealant work for the roof replacement of sections "Roof Replacement of Areas "A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, and K" at the Shoemaker Elementary School, 4068 Fairview Street, Macungie, PA 18062. GENERAL SPECIFICATIONS 1. Bids must be typewritten or written with ink and must be signed by the bidder. 2. Each bid must be a firm bid, subject to ninety (90) days acceptance. 3. It is the bidder's responsibility to become familiar with all of the bid documents and become acquainted with the scope of the work, and conditions under which the work must be performed. Lack of knowledge shall not be considered as an excuse for granting any compensation, or for failure, neglect, or refusal to perform any and all work called for or intended in the specifications. 4. All bids shall be submitted, with all blank spaces fully filled in, on forms supplied by the District. If there is any discrepancy between the words and the numbers on the bid form, the written words shall be considered as being the bid price. 5. All work shall be subject to inspection and final approval by the District. 6. Bidders may withdraw bids at any time before bid opening, but may not resubmit them.
