Jefferson Parish Department of Purchasing is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to provide Jefferson Parish Sanitary Landfill Gas Collection and Control and Leachate Collection System Operation and Maintenance Services for the Department of Environmental Affairs. The Jefferson Parish Sanitary Landfill is located at 5800 Highway 90 West, Avondale, LA, 70094. The Landfill is a Type I/Il Municipal Solid Waste Landfill owned by Jefferson Parish and all operations are contracted. The Landfill operates under Solid Waste Permit D-051-0090/P-0297-R1 issued by LDEQ. The Landfill falls under the New Source Performance Standards (NSPS) and Type 70 Operating Permit 1340-00140-V7 issued by LDEQ. The current contract for Landfill Gas Collection and Control System (LGCCS) Operation and Maintenance (O&M) expires on June 30, 2019, or upon execution of a new contract. Jefferson Parish wishes to execute a contract for at least two (2) years with an option to renew for three (3) additional one-year terms, with an experienced and capable company for O&M services. The Contract will be administered by the Department of Environmental Affairs.
