Renovation of a water / sewer project in Kng of Prussa, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.

Estimated Project Value: $280,000 to $290,000 Project: Project generally consists of the installation of new emergency generators to serve the Flint Hill Pump Station and the Swedesburg Pump Station. The Work will be performed under one (1) Contract as follows: Contract FHSG-I-19 - General Construction Owner: Upper Merion Sanitary and Stormwater Authority 175 West Valley Forge Road King of Prussia, PA 19406 Engineer: ARRO Consulting, Inc. 350 W. Main Street Suite 200 Trappe,PA 19426 610-495-0303 Questions will be accepted until 4:00 P.M, prevailing time, on Tuesday, February 26, 2019; questions will be accepted electronically, only from prime bidders. All questions must be submitted electronically. The apparent low bidder and the next two (2) lowest bidders must submit, to the Engineer, originals of the Bidding Documents within two (2) business days from the date of the bid opening. Reproduction of the Bidding Documents and placement online. Bids may be modified or withdrawn at any time prior to the opening of Bids. After the Bid opening, Bids may be withdrawn only by complying with Commonwealth of Pennsylvania laws and regulations. A summary of such laws and regulations is given in the Instructions to Bidders (Document 00100). Results of the bidding may be viewed by Bidders online. Bids shall remain open for a period of 60 days from the date of Bid opening unless award is delayed by a required approval from a governmental agency, the sale of bonds, or the award of a grant or grants, in which event the Bids shall remain open for a period of 120 days from the date of Bid opening. See Instructions to Bidders for other provisions on the time available for acceptance of Bids. The Contract will be subject to the Prevailing Minimum Wage Determination established by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of Labor and Industry. Each Bid must be accompanied by Bid security in the form of a certified check, bank check, irrevocable letter of credit, or Bid bond (on the form included with the Bidding Documents) for ten (10) percent of the Bid total. Bidders, subcontractors, their workers and any persons providing labor and products to the Project shall be persons lawfully permitted to work in the United States and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. As a precondition of being awarded a Contract, Successful Bidder, and its subcontractor(s) are required, to provide confirmation of compliance with Act 127 of 2012, the Public Works Employment Verification Act. The Upper Merion Sanitary and Stormwater Authority hereby reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all Bidders, to reject any or all Bids and to waive any omissions, errors, or irregularities in any Bid. After bid opening the results will be available for viewing at online. Successful bidder will be selected by Owner at a later date.
