Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Massena, New York. Completed plans call for the construction of a 6,670-square-foot, one-story above grade municipal facility; and 5,750-square-foot, one-story above grade municipal facility.

The work covered under the specifications consists of providing all plant supervision, labor, materials and equipment (except for services, materials, and/or equipment to be provided by others as specifically referred to in the Contract Documents), and performing all operations required for the construction of a new Robert Moses State Park Maintenance Building and an Administration Building with associated utilities and site work and the demolition and removal of existing building facilities and site utilities, including but not limited to the following: Provide a one story Administration Building (approximately 6,670 SF) and a one story Maintenance Building (approximately 5,750 SF), each consisting of offices and program support space for New York State Park Police and New York State Parks Administrative Staff at Robert Moses State Park. Both buildings are designed as steel framed structures supported by concrete grade beams on drilled in, steel and concrete grout micro pile foundation systems. The scope will include the construction of a new septic system and other utilities. A new fuel island station is also in the scope as an add-alternate. The scope of services shall also include the initial site work preparation for the deconstruction of the existing Parks building facilities and site utilities. The Environmental Survey and Report will be by others. The work shall be phased by The Contractor to complete the Maintenance Building first followed by the Administration Building. The existing maintenance building will remain occupied and in use by the State until the new Maintenance Building is complete and can be occupied by the State. The Phasing shall be coordinated directly with The Authority. This project commences construction approximately April 2019 with overall completion in August 2020.
