Sealed Bids for construction of the Rock Creek Engineering Offices Remodel & Additions Project Number 6639 (Project). First-Tier Subcontractor Disclosure Forms must be delivered to the same location at or before 4:00 p.m. local time on the same day in a separate envelope from the Bid. Contractor shall complete the work as specified or indicated in Owner's Contract Documents for the Project. The Work under this Contract will consist of, but is not limited to furnishing all labor, materials and equipment necessary to do the following (collectively, the Work): Remodel the existing 9,200-square-foot administration building,reconfiguring the current floorplan and adding an additional 2,000 square feet (sf) of interior space and 1,000 sf of covered exterior space. Project will also include: o New building exterior systems - new roofing, new exterior wall panels, new exterior CMU walls, and new windows. o New structural steel and foundation improvements o New HVAC and control systems o New and revised plumbing systems and fixtures o New electrical, lighting, and lighting control o New network raceways o New interior finishes and appurtances The Work is described and shown in the Specifications and Drawings included in the Contract Documents. The Site of the Work is the Rock Creek Engineering Offices, located at 3235 SE River Road, Hillsboro, OR 97123 (Site). The Site is an active working treatment plant and full-time operation of the site by Owner's staff is a requirement of this work. Temporary arrangements have been specified so that the Contractor may conduct most of their work uninterrupted. However, access for scheduled, routine and emergency duties is required at all times. The Work is a public works project subject to ORS 279C.800 to 279C.870. Each Bid must be submitted on the prescribed Bid Form and accompanied by Bid security as prescribed in the Instructions to Bidders. The Successful Bidder will be required to furnish the additional bond(s) and insurance prescribed in the Bidding Documents. Prior to submission of its Bid, Bidder shall be registered with the Oregon Construction Contractors Board. Bidders shall be qualified in accordance with the applicable parts of ORS 279C in order to submit a Bid for public work in Oregon. The Work does not involve asbestos, so Bidders are not required to be licensed with the Department of Environmental Quality pursuant to ORS 468A.720.
