Sealed and Electronic Bids for construction of the Parking Lot Improvements South of the Proposed Mississippi Center for Innovation and Tech Transfer (MCITT) MS# 50845 (Old MS Hardware Building at 1622 Washington Street), together with all appurtenances All plan holders are required to have a valid email address for registration. At the bidders option, in lieu of submitting a physical sealed bid, Official Bid Documents may be downloaded, and electronic bids may be submitted. Electronic bids are due the same time and date as sealed bids. For any questions related to the electronic bidding process, please call Central Bidding at 225-810-4814. Bid Preparation will be in accordance with Instructions to Bidders found in the project manual. No Bidder may withdraw his Bid within Sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The successful Bidder must provide both a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond (each in the amount of one hundred percent [100%] of the Contract) upon execution of the Contract. The Contract Time is one hundred and fifty (150) consecutive calendar days with a liquidated damages provision of Five-Hundred Dollars ($500.00) per calendar day thereafter. Contract Documents May Be Examined, After the Second Advertisement Date at: Pickering Firm, Inc., 2001 Airport Road, Suite 201, Flowood, Mississippi 39232 When construction bids are submitted electronically, the requirement for including a certificate of responsibility, or a statement that the bid enclosed does not exceed fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) on the exterior of the bid envelope as indicated in Section 31-3-21(1) and (2) of Mississippi State law shall be deemed in compliance with by including same as an attachment with the electronic bid submittal.
