Renovation of a military facility in Hot Springs, Arkansas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a military facility.
The official version of the complete set of the Contract documents should be examined and are obtainable from Southern Reprographics, 901 W. 7th Street, Little Rock, Arkansas 72201 (501)372-4011. Prime Bidders will be furnished up to 3 sets of bidding documents. Project estimated cost: $100,000.00 Prime Bidders requiring additional sets and Sub- bidders may purchase bidding documents through Southern Reprographics. A bid security in the amount of 5%, made payable to Garland County, Arkansas, shall accompany each bid, if the bid is in excess of $35,000.00. A Performance and Payment Bond, equal to the amount of the contract, and issued by a surety approved by the Owner and authorized to do business in the State of Arkansas will be required of the successful bidder. Bidder must comply with the regulatory and licensing requirements of the State of Arkansas and other applicable statutes. Pursuant to Ark. Code Ann. 22-9-203, the Owner encourages all small, minority, and women business enterprises to submit bids for capital improvements. Encouragement is also made to all general contractors that in the event they subcontract portions of their work, consideration is given to the identified groups. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities or informalities. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of Forty-five (45) days after the opening of bids.
