Scope of Services North City Pure Water Pipeline: The project consists of the construction of approximately 7.5 miles of 48" welded steel pipeline and appurtenances from the proposed Pure Water Facility located on Eastgate Mall to Miramar Reservoir. Construction involves other unique items including but not limited to: Six trenchless crossings, pipeline constructed within an existing bridge and construction of a deep permanent access structure. The project will also include the construction of a new dechlorination facility constructed of cement mortar masonry with metal roof to house 4,000 gallon capacity chemical tanks, chemical feed pumps, analyzers, and other appurtenances. -Plans numbered 39637-01-D through 39637-228-D, 39637-235-0 through 39637- 356-D. -General Requirements as detailed in DIV 01 of CSI shall support equivalent sections as defined in the Whitebook. -The "Technical Specifications" are broken down as such: DIV 01 shall be applied to all aspects of the aforementioned items, including 48" pipeline related work; DIV 02 through DIV 44 shall only be applied to all work as defined in Plans Numbered, 39637-127-D and 39637-153-D and 39637-160-D through 39637-234-D. AC Water Group 1038: The project consists of the replacement of existing, 6", 8", 12" and 16" asbestos cement water mains with approximately 34,000 linear feet of 12" and 16" water mains, including services, fire hydrants, curb ramps, sidewalk, curb and gutter and all appurtenances. Scope includes preparation of D sized engineered traffic control plans by a Registered Engineer. All required approvals and associated permits for traffic control are the responsibility of the contractor. See bid item for "Traffic Control Design (Engineered Traffic Control Plans). Errors and Omissions Insurance is required, see Section 7-3.10. -Plans numbered 40208-01-D through 40208-69-D. Miramar Road 1-805 Easterly Ramps: Miramar Road/1805 Interchange Project consists of widening of Miramar Road to eight (8) lanes from 1-805 easterly on and off ramps to 300 feet east of Eastgate Mall. It includes dual left turn lanes for eastbound Miramar Road and Eastgate Mall and a right turn pocket for westbound Miramar Road at Eastgate Mall. The project will also accommodate drainage facilities, remove/replaced pavement, sidewalk, curb, gutter, curb ramps and a new class II bike lane facility and traffic signals. -Plans numbered 37028-01-D through 37028-11-D and 37028-T1-D through 37028-T5-D for Miramar Road 1-805 Easterly Ramps.
