Site work for a transportation facility in San Diego, California. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility.
The bidder shall possess a valid California State Contractors License, classification A, at the time the Bid is submitted. The project provides for the removal and replacement of the existing Engineered Material Arresting System (EMAS) at the departure end of Runway 27. The work includes, but is not limited to, the following. Remove existing EMAS blocks, concrete grade beam, and debris deflector Relocate FAA underground approach lighting power cables, install new concrete encased duct banks and handhold, and modify two Runway 9 approach lights stations, Rehabilitate and extend the existing asphalt blast pad Install new EMAS blocks, concrete grade beam, and debris deflector Install retro reflective markers and pavement markings. All questions shall be submitted via email to Freddy Sharpe at fsharpe@san.org. Questions will be received until, 2:00 p.m. on May 22, 2020. Any questions received after that time and date will not be considered.
